These are some of the important issues we face together as a town. I believe the knowledge that incumbency and experience bring are key assets that I posses. These qualities are needed to work through the issues shown, and many more, too numerous to mention.
Finish the Real Estate closing on the The Rauscher Farm property.
Foster job creation and increased tax revenue through cooperation and teamwork with the Office of Community and Economic Development.
Work toward the successful completion of the new Senior Center project.
Advocate for new technological support, and dissemination of information, to help better inform our residents. An example is the town website being developed.
Explore our potential usage and options pertaining to the Wekepeke Reservoir.
Complete negotiations with the State for a mutually agreeable Conservation Restriction on the Wekepeke reservation.
Continuing to providing quality services for the community in these difficult financial times.
Advocate for infrastructure improvements, such as roads, bridges, and dams for our community.
Explore creating the position of assistant to the Town Administrator for much needed support and coordination.
Establish a Capital Planning Committee for proactive planning of capital purchases.
Continue to fully fund support services to our Seniors and Veteran's.
Explore and implement energy saving ideas to conserve energy and cut spending.
Review the adoption of a Town Charter as suggested by the DOR. This is an on going discussion with the Board of Selectman and you, the voters of the Town of Clinton.
Work collaboratively with the Town Administrator and financial team to help generate positive free cash, adopt financial policies and finally institute a Financial Management Team for our town.
Strive for centralized Town-wide purchasing where applicable.
Look for ways to recycle even more recyclable materials, as we recently have with cardboard.
